This Tuesday was Luther's Back to School Night. Many families came to school to meet the teachers, find their new classrooms, and drop off school supplies. It was great to see so many of my families. Those that stopped by my classroom received some information in Spanish, free toothbrushes for the family, as well as selected some free books to take home.
Every year Colgate is very nice and donates free toothbrushes to my classroom.
Families filled out a survey about their interest level in starting a Latino parent group at Luther. The results were very positive and we hope to start the group soon.
