End of the Year!

The 2011-2012 school year is coming to an end.  It has been a great year filled with lots of learning and activities.  All of my students have worked hard.  In this post you can check out some of the special things we did the last few weeks of school.

My dog, Lexi, came to visit our CLC Breakfast Club.  Students had fun taking turns walking Lexi.

Another morning during CLC Breakfast Club students went on a nature scavenger hunt.  Keven and Anayeli worked together to collect items off the list.

Javian worked hard at finding all of the items on his list.

We also spent some time using our school's new iPads.

The 4th graders that write for the Luther Scoop walked over to the Fort Atkinson Food Pantry to donate all of the money they earned from selling the school newspaper this year.

Students donated $118.15 to the Food Pantry.  They felt very proud.

The Luther Scoop reporters worked hard this year and celebrated by taking a spin on the merry-go-round at Jones Park.
