Each student made their own basketball bobble head that looked just like them. Students did a great job following directions and using their creative skills to make unique basketball players. It was fun how students showed their personalities and made their projects different by adding muscles to their players or designing fancy sneakers. All of the basketball players are proudly hanging on the classroom door and window.

Nathan wanted his basketball player to have a big number, so he chose 99.
Jasmin and Moises work on finishing their basketball players.

Check out our awesome door and window display!
We have also been reviewing for our third quarter math tests by playing basketball. Students could choose an easy (one point), medium (two points), or difficult (three points) question to answer. All of the questions were similar to what they would see on their tests. When students got the question right, they were able to shoot a basket from the three different locations. The harder the question, the further away students had to be from the basket. It was fun to see which questions students would pick in order to score the most points.
Anayeli got her "level 1" question right so she attempted to make a basket.
Javian loved answering the difficult questions to earn a chance to shoot a three-pointer. He was really good at making baskets because he was our high-scorer with 12 points. Good job Javian!
